Middle School Spring Dance
As the flowers began to bloom and the birds began to sing, the Middle School students and staff celebrated the fact that Spring had officially sprung with their annual Spring Dance! A much treasured tradition, Miss Lauren Diesenberg and her 8th grade Student Body Government put on a fantastic event. Students enjoyed dancing and delicious snacks, and everyone created lasting memories with their friends. Check out some of the students’ reflections with regard to this wonderful event.
“Our Middle School Dance was fun. I love to dance, and I like decorating even though it takes a long time. I enjoy it and I enjoy hanging out with my friend.” ~ MB
“Decorating the Middle School Dance was pretty fun because I helped decorate the outside of the Lion’s den with flowers and we had pizza!” ~DM
“We decorated the lion’s den. We worked hard and enjoyed ourselves. This was the 8th grade group’s last spring dance because 8th will move soon to high school. We had a blast!” ~LH
“Spring dance was my favorite time of the year, and I knew this was gonna be my last spring dance which made me a little sad. However, I am proud that I was able to help decorate the party as an 8th grader. I danced all wild, which I never used to do before, and I danced all I could because I knew this was my last year of middle school. That day was awesome!” ~ KT
“Our spring dance was really fun for 8th grade, and all in middle school. Decorating was my most favorite part of the dance because all the 8th graders decorated the snack bar however we wanted, and we had a huge pizza when we were done with our work.” ~ CB
