WPSD Student attends Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Competition in Hershey
Congratulations to WPSD Senior Austin G. and the team from Forbes Road Career and Technology Center. The team took 1st Place at Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Competition in Hershey. They won for their 3D Animation Entry. The team attended the PA FBLA competition on April 11th, 12th, and 13th. Their initial 3D Animation entry was selected as a finalist.
Prior to qualifying, the team worked together to create this 3D project. The team members consisted of Austin, who attends the Computer Networking and Security Class at Forbes. The two other students attend the Mulitmedia Design Class at Forbes. These students collaborated with each other, and also collaborated with WPSD to create the video for this project. Thank you to Forbes Road CTC teacher Mr. George Karnbauer who provided support to this group and attended the conference with them. Also, thank you to our own Media Coordinator – Mr. Brian Slavinsky – who provided the opportunity for the students to create the video for their project.
The top 4 award winners in this event will be eligible to represent Pennsylvania at this summer’s National Leadership Conference in Chicago. Kudos to Austin and the team!
