Registration
The Programs of Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf uses Alma Start: Student Re-registration for the annual update of your student’s information. The system is a secure and green process, which allows the school to verify all student demographic, emergency and medical information for your child prior to the start of the new school year. The system will also allow you to electronically sign the annual permission forms for school district policies. In short, this online process replaces all the hard copy student registration and permission forms that your child brings home on the first day of school. You will need to complete this before school starts each school year.
In addition to educator tools, Alma offers a parent and student dashboard to help the student’s support system stay informed and on top of their learning. Alma provides access to:

Your username is typically your firstname.lastname.
The password is set by you, if you have forgotten it, please click on the “Forgot Password” link to update your password.
Once you are logged into your account,
> You can select English/Spanish in the top right corner. For other languages, you can use Google Translate by downloading the extension in the Google Web Store. Then use “translate this page” and set the preferred language!
> Select and complete all the steps of Alma Start: Student Re-registration.
