Donor Spotlight: Ruthrauff Sauer

This is a busy time of year with a number of fun fundraising events at WPSD. Whether it’s our sporting clay shoot, the ElRoy Face Forkball Classic Golf Tournament or Bike-Aid 2011, there’s one constant—Ruthrauff Sauer. The company, one of the Pittsburgh region’s largest mechanical engineering firms, has been a longtime financial supporter and partner to the school.
“WPSD is not your typical client,” explains Ray Gajski, Ruthrauff president/general manager. “There is a great passion among the staff at every level for these kids. That’s a big reason that we’re proud to support the school.”

In addition to its financial support of WPSD, the 195-employee firm based in McKees Rocks has been instrumental in the many improvements made to the campus’ facilities. Ruthrauff has installed updates to the HVAC systems as well as providing project management services.
